Lessons Derived From Coronavirus Pandemic

Lessons Derived From Coronavirus Pandemic: The Coronavirus has taken the world by storm. No one knew anything like this would ever happen. Even though it was slow to spread in Africa, things have now changed. Many countries in Africa now are recording positive coronavirus cases in thousands.

The inception of Coronavirus has changed a lot of things: The way we behave towards one another, our approach to business, School, and health delivery systems have all changed. I think it is about time we ponder things and see what lessons we can derive from the global crises.

It will help us as individuals, as a country, and the entire world as a whole. Here, I have outlined 5 Lessons Derived From Coronavirus Pandemic.

Lessons Derived From Coronavirus Pandemic

1. We Should Be Prepared For Emergencies

Lessons Derived From Coronavirus Pandemic

Preparing for emergencies is one of the biggest challenges in the world especially in Africa. We are always reactive. We do not prepare for emergencies both as individuals and as a country. Let me ask you; do you have an emergency account?

If yes how much do you have in it? Due to the initial lockdown, most people have spent all their money. Hunger is at the door; another type of virus on its own! How well are we prepared as a country to handle any type of emergency when it pops out.

I think the Coronavirus has taught us a very good lesson here, to prepare ourselves down for anything. If you are not doing anything about your emergency account then it is up to you!

2. All Humans Are Equal, We Must Love One Another

Lessons Derived From Coronavirus Pandemic

You may observe that the Coronavirus is no respecter of persons. White people got it so are the blacks. The rich got it so are the poor. The educated got it so are the illiterates. This shows that after all, no one is superior. This is the time we must realize that racism and discrimination are nothing but immaturity. We must like and love one another; this is the message of the Covid – 19.

3. Investment in Our Health Is the Best Investment

Lessons Derived From Coronavirus Pandemic

What a lesson the Coronavirus has taught us. Since the pandemic has set in, most of us are rushing to eat fruits and vegetables to boost our immune systems. Our attitudes towards investment should change for good. We should realize that investment in one’s health is the best.

Our health should be the most important thing for us. You may have a lot of businesses or money, in all you need to be in good health to make good use of it. The lesson here to the individuals is that the best investment you can make is to invest in your health!

We should eat good foods and balanced diets at all times. We must be in good health to be prepared for everything. On the part of government, countries, and the world as a whole, we should build many hospitals and intensive care capacities.

Partially, this is the reason why most world leaders cannot contain the virus because our health capacities are low and the health delivery system is poor. Even the developed countries are guilty of this.

4. Being with Your Family Is Important

How To Make People Like You

We are in a world where all revolves around work. People love their work more than they do worship God their Maker. Down to dusk is the nom. Husbands do not have time for their wives and children and wives do not have time for their children all in the name of work.

Children are left in the hands of the house helps to cater to them. At the inception of Covid 19, there is a partial or total lockdown in most countries so parents are in the house with their children, and husbands and wives are together?

Have you seen the good side of the Covid 19? Covid 19 has thought us that spending time with your family is very important! People might even consider working from home!

5. Access to the Internet and Ecommerce

Lessons Derived From Coronavirus Pandemic

Since the pandemic hits the world, most countries have resorted to total or partial lockdown as a way to slow or prevent the spread of the virus. Schools, churches, and other organizations and social activities have been banned. Students can no longer go to school. Market women are in the house. Access to broadband internet has come to our aid. Since the lockdown, countries have resorted to online teaching.

This virtual classroom and webinars will not be possible without access to the internet. So I think we should plan for the future. We do not know what the future hold. Today is Coronavirus, tomorrow it might be something else. On the part of buying and selling, eCommerce should increase rapidly.

You can be in the comfort of your home, buy, and sell anything you want. The eCommerce seems to be working well in the western world and North America. In Africa, we are lacking behind, even though some online platforms have come like Jumia, not many people make use of it.
